Every time my husband gets his hair cut by Zaida he comes home looking great!
We've recently moved out of Hamilton and he still makes the 45 minute drive into Speakeasy Barber because their cuts are worth it!

I come over from the Mount specifically to get my hair cut by Zaida, which probably says most of what you need to know.

I’m 36, so I’ve had a fair few haircuts in my time, and the best ones have genuinely been from Zaida. She doesn’t rush you through the chair. She takes the time to understand your hair, what you actually want, and makes sure it’s properly right before you leave.

Even as I’m writing this, my wife just brought me a coffee and said, “She’s done such a good job with your hair. Even when it’s fluffy, it sits really well.”

That probably says it better than I can haha.

Zaida is an absolute legend. She’s been cutting my hair for 5 years and delivers a perfect cut every time. Professional, consistent and always on point.

Zaida has been cutting my hair for quite a while now. While she is around I will never be going elsewhere. Why? A few reasons. She is an absolute master at her craft and it shows with her attention to detail and you can just feel the pride she takes in what she is doing, even if it is tidying up some terrible old bloke like me. She is utterly genuine. No bullshit, no airs and graces, just a grounded and smart young woman who is going somewhere. Also, she has a vision and is pursuing it. I admire her enormously and if she can me look half way presentable, she may indeed have some strange magic about her. Noone would be making a mistake in allowing her to take control. Oh and by the way, the shave experience is marvellous. I recommend her thoroughly to anyone.
